What's the difference between a stackable set and a WashTower?
- A stackable set is two separate appliances — a washer and a dryer — that are physically stacked using a manufacturer's bracket kit. A WashTower is a single unit with the washer below and dryer above, factory-assembled and sharing one control panel. WashTowers install fastest; stackable sets give you more flexibility on capacity matching.
Do I need a stacking kit?
- Yes — for separate washer + dryer stacks you'll need the brand-specific stacking kit (typically $50–$100). WashTowers do not need one. Our team can include the right kit at the time of purchase.
How much vertical space do I need?
- Most stacked pairs need 78–80 inches floor-to-ceiling plus 4 inches above for the dryer vent. WashTowers are typically 74 inches tall. Bring exact measurements when you visit and we'll match a unit to your closet.
Are stackable units full size?
- Most are 27-inch full-capacity front-loaders — 4.5 cu.ft washer / 7.4 cu.ft dryer is typical. We do not stock 24-inch compact models at this time.
Do you deliver and install in Pomona?
- Yes. Free same-day delivery within 30 miles of Pomona (covers most of Greater Los Angeles and the Inland Empire). Stacking installation is included on most pairs — ask at checkout.
